Vending by JSR’s new Intelligent Fridge closes the gap between vending machines and farm gate sales. This technology brings new opportunities to Farm Vending, allowing owners to sell large amounts on chilled produce in a small, confined space. The Intelligent Fridges can offer the customer fresh and low cost produce available 24 hours of the day.
Customer use
Your customers start with a quick one-time registration. During registration the customer links their payment details and registers their identification.
After identification, the door will unlock, and products can be taken out of the fridge. Now the customer can chose anything from the fridge that they like and just take it out. The fridge automatically detects which products are taken out once the door is closed and the corresponding amount will be charged to the customer’s account. The linked payment details can even be used to deduct the costs periodically instead of after every purchase.
How this works?
Every product in the fridge is labelled with a unique RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) tag, which allows the fridge to uniquely identify every product inside. Better yet, this means the fridge can determine products being taken out in real-time. There are several other benefits the RFID tags can provide, such as managing expiration dates for individual products and tracking items along the supply chain.
The Technology
The Intelligent fridge will come in several options based on your needs like a payment terminal, big screen and / or a dedicated Mobile App with our customizable user interface for interaction and information display.
Much like our LockBlox. The Intelligent fridge connects to the internet and allows you to check your fridge stock and record your sales data, all in real time.

The Intelligent fridge keeps all products inside at a temperature range between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius. Even during periods of busy use, the Intelligent Fridge still performs at optimal level to keep your stock between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius. Making this a great option for selling your chilled meats, juices, dairy’s and other chilled produce. With its tall and thin design, it is now allowing you to sell large volumes of chilled goods, completely unattended, without taking up large amounts of space.
