Bettys Farm Shop in Derbyshire has recently opened one of the biggest fully automated self-service shops in Europe, using our latest class leading Lock Blox Vending Machines. Bettys farm shop is a fully automated vending shop that enhances shopper’s convenience through extended opening hours and additional services like click and collect. Vending by JSR supplied and fitted over 300 ambient lockers and over 100 chilled lockers along with an integrated flex unit to meet the vision Bettys farm had for a fully automated self-service shop.
For the first time in the UK these units incorporated our state of the art 22-inch touch screen smart breeze payment terminal and the new 22-inch penguin standalone touch screen payment terminal. With these terminals comes a new custom Graphic User Interface (GUI). This is allowing Bettys Farm Shop to sell a wide range of fresh local products from eggs, meat, veg, bread, cheese, milk down to even coffees and cakes.
Due to Bettys farm shop being situated on a working farm, it is allowing customers the experience to come into the farm and interact with the animals on site that are producing the quality local foods they will be buying from the vending shop.
